Intent: This day is intended to help people prepare for any event they are wanting to participate in, but specifically for those that want to experience what the SFCFT (Special Forces Combat Fitness Test) and what it is all about. You can take any weight you like to experience the sub 1:40 pacing over undulating 350m elevation ground over 8 miles.
Expectations: Working at a comfortable rate for a duration of approx 3 hours total. This will include a warm up run and then out to do the course which will only last sub 2 hours. A short day.
Fitness Level: Can be used for very basic to advanced. Weight suggested is just what fits into your current training program and yet anyone wanting to push themselves harder could take a weight of up to 45lbs. Please speak with Nick for guidance. The pace wont be constant so anyone that wants to go slower can do, we do however expect there to be elements of running and this is not a complete walking day.
