Intent: This day is the last opportunity to get a good session in for the paras 10 race. This will be a slightly slower rate than your race pace but be 2 miles longer and 5lbs heavier and on a relatively flat route. This is designed to build capacity, confidence and take a bit of pressure away from the race on the day.
Expectations: This can also be used a training day to start your build up training, we will be stop start to an extent to re org people that are slower, this is a great opportunity to get into the hills and start your training.
Fitness Level: Basic to advanced
Joining instructions: These will be send out a few days before, you won’t need any specialist equipment other than a day sack, water proofs, warm kit, hat and gloves, a pair of walking trousers, boots and some food bars to eat.
