Start location is next to a large campsite, some will be camping at that location Friday and Saturday night if needed. There is a cafe bar, parking caping on sea front if and tent camping.
Intent: This day is a hill fitness day and specifically can be used to build leg strength for Sabre 23 and the Fan Dance. It is on the Jurassic coastline along the “SBS Rollercoaster” section of the coastline. This is used a lot by the British Special Forces in their training. The route has plenty of short and sweet steep ascents and descents so can work the legs hard depending on weight carried. You can go as light as you want or as heavy as you like based on your experience and fitness level. There will be an element of running in parts, but as always we play catch up so those slower or want to take it easier can do. Running will be very light.
Expectations: It can be easier for you if you want it to be part of your progressive training plan depending on what you have coming up or as harder for those wanting to test themselves with more weight.
Fitness Level: Can be used for basic with little or no weight or over weight up to 40lbs.
