Intent: This day is intended to shake out the legs from the CDO Shuffle if you had competed in that event, or to be used to familiarise yourself with fell running. The day will be at a comfortable level so should be suitable for people who currently are on RTGs or have a basic level of fitness programming that allows them to move over the hills at an easy to moderate pace for 3-4 hours.
Expectations: There are not any, this day is for people wanting to better understand how to do a Fell Run. So we will be stopping and starting and re orging so we can play catch up and talk through the fundamentals.
Fitness Level: Can be used for basic too advanced. Anyone wanting to push themselves harder could take a weight of up to 30lbs.
Joining instructions: These will be send out a few days before, you won’t need any specialist equipment other than a small day sack with water proofs, warm top, hat and gloves, food and water. Equipment worn can be trainers or boots shorts or trousers.
