Intent: This day is intended to shake out the legs from training and build your leg strength capacity for the Fan Dance, part of your training programming, or to be used to familiarise yourself with fell running. The day will be at a comfortable level so should be suitable for people who currently are on RTG’s or have a basic level of fitness programming that allows them to move over the hills at an easy to moderate pace for approximately 3 hours. The day will be relaxed and showing people how to fell run.
Expectations: You should be able and comfortable to be able to run for a period of 1 hour to participate in this day, or be able to run walk at least for that period, this day is for people wanting to better understand how to do a Fell Run. So we will be stopping and starting and re orging so we can play catch up and talk through the fundamentals.
Fitness Level: Can be used for basic to advanced. Anyone wanting to push themselves harder could take a weight of up to 22lbs.
Joining instructions: These are the joining instructions although a WhatsApp group will be set up, if you are not a member then please contact Nick on 07855468103 via WhatsApp so he can add you. You will need the following equipment: A small day sack with water proof jacket, warm top, hat and gloves, food on the go such as bars, water and small medical kit that has bandage Ibrofen and Paracetamol. Equipment worn can be fell / trail trainers or boots and trousers.
